Created in 2009, the Days of Advanced Methods for the Analysis of Complex Surveys (MAASC) aim to bring together researchers in Statistics survey statisticians and institutes of public and private studies, and thus strengthen the link between the world of academic research and business surveys.
This year, MAASC days will take place in the interdisciplinary project CNRS - Défi Littoral 2016 ESPADON (spatial sampling for the collection of data: application to the professional maritime fishing). They will focus on the
Spatial sampling and Spatial estimation
and assemble scientists and actors of multidisciplinary research, statisticians, geographers and specialists in the exploitation of the sea.
They will take place at the MSH Ange-Guépin in Nantes over two days on
8 and 9 November 2016.
The first day will be devoted to theoretical and applied oral presentations.
The second day will take the form of a tutorial on methods of surveys with R; it will address both users and non familiar with sampling and surveys.
